Hi!  I'm Angela, a family photographer based in the Lake Norman/Charlotte area of NC.  I am happily married to Todd, a Mama of 4 -2 biological sons and 2 bonus daughters and a Mimi of 3 grandsons with 2 granddaughters on the way. Being the true definition of "empty nesters" we have a cocker spaniel "Sailor" who has become our only child.  I love to landscape, cook and I'm a bit of a clean freak. My husband and I spend as much time as possible on the lake boating, fishing, grilling and overall chilling. As an enneagram 6, my photography journey is a dance between capturing the beauty in uncertainty and finding reassurance in the details.  

I picked up my first camera in the late 1980's and attended a crash course in portrait photography in 1994 but my aspirations were put on hold while I grew, raised and helped support a family.  Fast forward to the past couple of years and I've come to realize how precious and how fleeting life is and with that I find myself investing more time, effort and love into the things that are important.  Katie Thurmes said "We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone."  There's nothing more rewarding that getting to assist you in documenting life's moments both big and small.
